"Service To Others Is The Rent You Pay For Your Room Here On Earth." -Muhammad Ali.

I was diagnosed with osteo-sarcoma, a rare cancer in the bone, when I was just 11 years old. The emotional and physical toll the process of chemotherapy and the numerous surgeries took on myself, as well as my family & friends, was devastating. However, with the help of the many doctors, social workers, and volunteers over at The Valerie Fund at Monmouth Medical Center in my hometown of Long Branch, NJ, my experience was not one of sadness and despair; but rather one of hope and faith. As an adult now, I always look for ways to give others a sense of hope and optimism. The same hope and optimism the many members of my community, along with my family from all over New Jersey, Brooklyn, and Puerto Rico and my friends gave me by their generosity through fundraising. It was this sense of community and giving back that has driven me to create Alberto’s Angels; which today is a team of dedicated individuals consisting of nurses, graphic designers, mental health counselors, digital content creators, photographers, teachers and many other people from all walks of life who serve a specific role to our main goal: To provide that same hope for other children and their families.

As we continue to grow and organize more parties and events, we intend to branch out and help raise money and awareness to other causes that our team members and our families hold close to their hearts. We thank everyone who has supported us so far and who will continue to do so. The fight never stops.

Angels Are Everywhere!!
